Call for Proposals

There are three opportunities to present at the HI-TEC conference.

  1. Preconference Workshops and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) (FAQ: Workshops and SIGs)
  2. Main Conference Sessions
  3. Poster Sessions

Questions about your session or poster proposal: Contact Greg Kepner or Peter Kazarinoff.

Questions about the forms: Contact Sheila Wilson.

1. Preconference Workshops and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) (3.5 Hours)

Workshop presenters are not required to register for their workshops but must register and pay for the main conference.

SIG presenters/facilitators are required to pay for the SIG.

The lead presenter is responsible for communicating this information to the co-presenters.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 10 (5:00 p.m. Central)
NOTIFICATION DATE: February 25

Preconference events will take place on Monday, July 27 (morning and afternoon) and Tuesday, July 28 (morning and afternoon).

2. Main Conference Session Presentations (45 minutes)

All presenters/co-presenters must register and pay the presenter fee of $625.

The lead presenter is responsible for communicating this information to the co-presenters.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 27 (5:00 p.m. Central)
NOTIFICATION DATE: April 3

Main conference sessions will take place on Wednesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 30.

3. Poster Sessions – Displayed Wednesday, July 29, 4:00–5:15 p.m.

All presenters/co-presenters must register and pay the presenter fee of $625.

The lead presenter is responsible for communicating this information to the co-presenters.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 27 (5:00 p.m. Central)
NOTIFICATION DATE: April 3

Each poster session presenter will display their materials on a 48″x72″ bulletin board (push pins are provided) and be present to discuss the display Wednesday, July 29, 4:00–5:15 p.m. during the Exhibit Hall reception. No equipment or tables will be used in the poster sessions.
